
Role: Art Producer and Outsource Manager
Experience
– Managed the art assets production for the game (characters, karts, wearables, cosmetics and tracks) coordinating internal artists and the external vendor team utilizing agile methodology.
– Achieved to deliver 500+ different assets within 4 months getting ahead of the development roadmap allowing the team to integrate the assets to the game in a timely manner.
– Worked directly with the Art Director, Product Owner and Game Director to define the game’s art needs, workload and priorities according to the development roadmap.
– Supervised the art proof of concept with the Art Director and Tech Art Lead to create the first batch of assets and proper documentation in terms of polycount, texture maps, shaders and animation loops to enable internal artists and external vendors to follow specific guidelines to create high volumes of assets meeting the expected quality and game specs.
– Worked directly with the Game’s Level Designer to develop a strategy to create modular tracks that followed the game’s art direction and features design.
– Reviewed the art assets in blender and unity to ensure there were no issues and they met the game’s specs.
– Worked with the marketing team to plan and track the creation of CG short videos as part of the social media strategy. I also supervised the creation of the videos ensuring the external partners delivered on time and quality.
– Conducted weekly demos to the internal teams to keep them in the loop and identify risks and blockers and found solutions in a timely manner.
